How to select the correct handling equipment

(1) Different loading and unloading equipment shall be equipped according to the nature of the operation and the operation site. More suitable handling equipment can be selected according to whether the operation is simple loading and unloading or simple handling, or both; Different handling equipment shall be provided for different operation occasions.

(2) Different loading and unloading equipment shall be provided according to the configuration and selection of the operation movement form. Horizontal movement, can be equipped with truck, tractor, trolley and other handling equipment; Vertical movement, can be equipped with hoists, cranes and other handling equipment; Inclined movement, can be equipped with continuous conveyor, elevator and other handling equipment; Vertical and horizontal movement can be equipped with forklift, crane, elevator and other handling equipment; Multi plane movement, loading and unloading equipment such as rotary crane can be equipped.

(3) The configuration and selection of loading, unloading and handling operation amount according to the operation amount are related to the operation capacity of the equipment, thus affecting the type and quantity of equipment required. When the operation volume is large, large special equipment with high operation capacity shall be provided; Small and medium-sized general equipment with simple structure, low cost and considerable production capacity is preferred for small and medium-sized operations.

(4) According to the type and nature of the goods, the configuration and selection of the physical and chemical properties of the goods, as well as the external shape and packaging vary from size to weight, from solid to liquid, from bulk to bulk, so the requirements for handling equipment are different.

(5) Configure and select loading and unloading equipment such as tractors and trailers for long-distance transportation according to the transportation distance. Forklifts, straddle carriers and other loading and unloading equipment can be selected for shorter distance transportation. Handcarts and other loading and unloading equipment can be selected for shorter distance transportation. In order to improve the utilization rate of equipment, it is necessary to combine the types and characteristics of equipment to closely coordinate the traffic, freight, loading and unloading, handling and other work.

(6) The complete set of loading and unloading equipment is equipped with loading and unloading equipment, so that the front and rear operations are connected and coordinated with each other, which is an important condition to ensure the continuous loading and unloading work. Therefore, it is necessary to properly coordinate the handling equipment in the production operation area, quantity and tonnage, operation time, site conditions and surrounding auxiliary equipment.
